Donnel Thompson (NFL Player and CEE Parent) Pays a Visit :

Former NFL player for the Colts and Steelers, Donnel Thompson,  visited the 7th grade today in order to inform us about football in America. The 7th graders are currently writing persuasive essays about whether or not football should be banned in the USA due to concussions and other more negative aspects of this sport before they take it to an in-class trial. Mr. Thompson's contribution was absolutely intriguing and he taught our class life lessons such as the one his coach taught him:  "God first,  family second,  and then comes football."  Today was definitely the best writing class of the year. Thank you Mr. Thompson and oh, you might get a chance to meet him too!  He's a proud father of two Catholic East scholars!

Join us for Stations of the Cross :

Easter Egg Sale to Raise Alzheimers Awareness :

Battle of the Books!! :

Congratulations to Cecilia Parlier, Peter Clausen, Jacob Armstrong, Benjamin Larson, Madeline John, Anna Bechtel, Eva-Marie Moss, Willy Bonifas, and Jesper Hjerstedt on their debut at the B.O.B competition!

The 4th and 6th grade teams won both of their rounds! There were 38 teams altogether from the North Shore, so competition was stiff as we battled teams who have participated for 20+ years. Even though our teams didn't place, our scores were high and we are all proud of our hard-working readers. CEE is ready to rock in April 2018!
